P6M Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 May 2026
These terms apply to hosted P6M services made available by Platform Team through p6m.xyz and related customer portals. They are written for the hosted alpha and should be reviewed with legal counsel before broad commercial release.
1. Agreement
By creating an account, using the hosted platform, or continuing to use P6M after these terms are updated, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you use P6M on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation.
2. Hosted alpha
P6M is currently offered as a hosted alpha. Features, limits, pricing models, domain availability, and service behaviour may change as the platform matures. We will use reasonable efforts to avoid disruptive changes and to communicate material changes through the dashboard or account contact details.
3. Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for the users, service accounts, API keys, policy modules, data, and traffic under your Org. You must not use P6M to process unlawful material, attack systems, bypass quotas, interfere with other customers, or upload policy modules intended to escape the policy sandbox or compromise the platform.
4. Billing, free credits, GST, and taxes
P6M may offer a free trial, monthly prepaid usage, and monthly metered usage. Free-tier usage is applied before paid usage where the active plan includes it. Free credits do not accrue, roll over, or have cash value.
Unless stated otherwise in the checkout or invoice, prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. Australian GST may be added where required. You are responsible for providing accurate billing details, tax information, and payment method details. Stripe or another payment provider may process payment details for hosted billing.
5. Usage limits and traffic suspension
If your Org has no payment method and exhausts free-tier usage, P6M may pause billable customer API traffic until billing details are added or additional usage is available. If you use a prepaid plan and extra usage is disabled, traffic may pause when the included allowance is exhausted. If extra usage is enabled, traffic may continue up to the extra usage cap you configure.
6. SLA and free-tier disclaimer
Free-tier usage, trial usage, and hosted alpha usage are provided without a service level agreement, uptime commitment, response-time commitment, service credit, or paid support response commitment.
Paid support response SLA products may be displayed in the product or billing interface but are disabled during hosted alpha unless we expressly enable them for your account. Any future paid SLA will apply only to the paid service scope and period described at purchase. It will not apply to free-tier usage, preview features, customer-caused incidents, third-party provider outages, misuse, or force majeure events.
7. Refunds and cancellations
You may cancel a hosted plan through the dashboard or by contacting support. Cancellation does not automatically delete your customer data. We may retain records needed for security, billing, audit, dispute handling, and legal compliance.
Refunds are handled in accordance with these terms and Australian Consumer Law. We do not provide refunds merely because you changed your mind, stopped using the service, or failed to use included allowance, except where required by law or where we choose to provide a discretionary credit. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
8. Customer data ownership
You retain ownership of data you or your users submit to P6M. You grant us the rights needed to host, process, transmit, secure, back up, meter, support, and operate the services for your account. We do not sell customer payload data.
You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, classification, and permissions for customer data. You should avoid submitting regulated, sensitive, or high-risk data unless your plan, configuration, and legal agreements are suitable for that use.
9. Data processing and customer-held keys
P6M may process account data, operational metadata, billing data, audit data, support data, and customer payload data to provide the platform. Where customer-held encryption keys are enabled, we may be unable to decrypt customer payloads without your cooperation. If you ask platform support to access encrypted exports or payloads, you must explicitly authorise that access and provide the required key material or decrypted data.
10. Security and access
You must protect credentials, API keys, user passwords, service accounts, and customer-held keys. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to protect customers, the platform, billing integrity, or security.
11. Changes to services or terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be published on this page or notified through the product. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia and the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia in force in Queensland. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the Federal Court of Australia sitting in Queensland.
13. Contact
For billing, support, legal, or privacy questions, contact Platform Team through the hosted portal support channel or the contact details published by Platform Team.
